Breathe Mama!
In lieu of Mother’s Day, I felt compelled to share my thoughts on motherhood and how yoga and meditation has helped me breathe a little deeper. As moms, our days start pretty early, usually before 6am, regardless of what we…
It is my passion to support people in recognizing their light and stepping into bold possibility. This light is already within each of us, but sometimes it dims and we forget how bright we can be. I incorporate the tools of yoga to shed the layers of limiting beliefs and uncover who we truly are. When we awaken to our true selves, our energy and light have the ripple effect to positively impact the lives of everyone we touch. I coach students to discover their authentic voice and lead through their core values—mine are humour, wisdom and flexibility, in that order.
As the director of mindful performance at lululemon athletica, it is my responsiblity to set the overall vision, strategy, and direction of the mindful performance initiatives and experiences. I am the creator and lead teacher of mind.ful.on, lululemon’s 200hr yoga leadership teacher training. I am also a Vedic Educator for the Chopra Center, leading events and retreats with them globally, as well as one of the featured online teachers for JIYO and Gaia Yoga.
My journey with the practice of yoga and meditation began in 2000 when my career as a professional dancer and singer came to a close. I have completed teacher trainings with the Spokane Yoga Shala (200hr), Ashtanga Yoga with Tim Miller (100hr), Yin Yoga, Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga (200hr), Primordial Sound Meditation and Perfect Health (Ayurveda) at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, and the American Yoga Academy (500hr). I am originally from Los Angeles but currently live in Vancouver, BC with my husband and two children.
I lead yoga teacher trainings & events throughout the year.
