About the Retreat

Join Wellness & Fitness Leaders Matt Thomas & Danielle Mika on this transformational retreat to start your 2025 focused on your mind/body health. Matt and Danielle will guide you through different techniques of movement, meditation, personal development and yoga over 6 nights to set you up for an intentional new year.

30 hours of this retreat will contribute towards Danielle Mika Wellbeing’s 300hr Yoga Leadership Teacher Training or Continued Education Credits with Yoga Alliance.

Participants will receive Fight and Flow Level 1 Certification, which includes 1 CEC (10 credit hours) for NASM certified personal trainers.

Amansala is named in Sanskrit after Tulum's peaceful, crystal-clear waters.

To this day, it is still one of Tulum's most iconic, eco-chic boutique hotels.

6:30-7am Sunrise Beach Meditation

7-8am Light Breakfast

8:30-10am Movement

10:30-11:30am Brunch

12-2pm Personal Development Session

2:30-3:30pm Snack

4:30-6pm Movement

7:30-8:30pm Dinner

We will skip some sessions for excursions and free time to explore and enjoy the property and area.

Pricing & Cancellation Policy

Shared Rooms start at $2,800 USD

50% of the retreat cost due upon registration

All moneys received are non-refundable. In the event you need to cancel and we are able to backfill your spot, you will receive a refund minus a $500 administration fee.

About Matt

Matt Thomas, aka @movingwithmat, is USA’s first Chessboxing World Champion, a combat sports commentator, and a content creator focussed on chessboxing, holistic wellness, and peak human performance.

 

He spent 4 years traveling to over 40 countries while becoming a certified yoga instructor, studying various martial arts, and building a fitness concept called Fight and Flow, which combines basic bodyweight calisthenics with yoga for a full body workout that can be done anywhere, without equipment.

I first met Matt during my 200hr Yoga Leadership Teacher Training in Santa Cruz, California. He was actually my very first boxing coach! I appreciated his inclusive and fun approach to teaching and guiding. I am so excited to be collaborating with him on this  fitness/wellness retreat!
